The right pair of boots can help ensure comfort on your next dive! Before purchasing scuba fins, you will need to decide which boots are best for the type of diving you plan to do. We offer great quality brands such as Henderson, Neosport, Scubapro, Fourthelement and more! We also carry boots in varying thicknesses of neoprene (3mm, 5mm and 7mm). The thickness of the boot you choose will depend on the water temperature you plan on diving in. Usually, it should correspond with the thickness of the wetsuit you plan to wear, for example, in warmer Caribbean temperatures, you can use a 3mm boot but in colder New Jersey temperatures, you can use a 5+ mm boot. Thicker soles are suggested for shore diving but thinner soles can work for boat diving. In order to find your perfect fit, start with your shoe size. Scuba boots do not come in half sizes; therefore, it is suggested that you round a size up. The boot should fit like a shoe, neither too tight nor too loose. Scuba boots can come in multiple styles such as low-top and high-top with zippers on the side. Low-tops can work well in warmer temperatures while high-tops can give you extra warmth on colder dives.
