Made of marine grade 316 stainless steel, our heavy-duty bolt snaps are designed for saltwater use and feature swiveling bases for ease of connection. Each bolt snap is meticulously inspected at our factory to ensure smooth edges that won't cut fingers and that gates open and shut reliably. Available in four sizes: (3-inch), (3 1/4-inch), (3 3/4-inch) and (4 5/8-inch).

The 3" is great for securing a long hose
The 3-1/4" is great for securing a pressure gauge to your left D-ring
The 3-3/4" is great for securing a stage bottle strap, scooter leash and/or lift bag
The 4 5/8" is great for Divers that have really LARGE hands, wearing thick gloves in very cold water. (This clip is HUGE!)

Think you can get them cheaper at Home Depot? April 11, 2009

<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial;">There is a difference between the "marine grade" stainless steel clips you can buy here compared to the "hardware" quality ones you can get at Lowe's or Home Depot.  Don't believe me? Have a look at this picture:http://www.scubaboard.com/gallery/data/500/medium/BoltSnap_1.jpgThe one on the left was purchased at The Scuba Connection. The one on the right was half the price at Lowe's.  I didn't exactly save any money, huh? (PS - yes, it is STUCK open..</span>
