Oxygen Compatible lubricant is particularly used on materials that come in direct contact with Oxygen percentages greater than 40 Percent.
The breathing loop on a Rebreather is constantly exposed to Oxygen percentages in excess of 40 Percent. Divers should take the time when preparing their Rebreathers for a dive. Use Oxygen Compatible Lubricant on all sealing surfaces and o-rings. Be sure not to use too much O2 Lube, a little bit goes a very long way!
Tech Tip: Most divers waste more Oxygen Compatable Lube than they use because it gets absorbed into the skin . Designate a plastic bag to use whenever applying CHRISTO-LUBEŽ to o-rings. Take a small Zip Lock bag, put a little CHRISTO-LUBEŽ inside. Close the bag and rub the outside to spread out the Lubricant inside the bag. Open the bag and insert your o-rings (one at a time if you prefer). You know have the perfect container for lubricating all of your o-rings without any waste!
